Welcome to the Underground

In a small Southern town gripped by poverty, corruption, and generational violence, two rival gangs—the Murdas and the 63rds—fight for control while pretending to coexist. At the center of it all are people trying to survive systems built to break them, cops playing both sides, and a community forced to choose silence or blood. Everyone's connected, someone's watching, and no one gets out clean.

The Town That Progress Forgot

Once a thriving mill town, Millbrook's economy collapsed when the factories moved overseas in the '90s. What remained was a community divided by railroad tracks—literally and figuratively. The Murdas claimed the east side, where abandoned warehouses became their kingdom. The 63rds took root in the west, in the crumbling projects that the city pretends don't exist.

Between them lies downtown—a no-man's land of shuttered businesses, predatory payday loans, and the police station that serves as an uneasy neutral ground. But neutrality is a luxury no one can afford when choosing sides means the difference between protection and becoming another statistic.

A War Built on Broken Promises

The conflict began in 1987 when both gangs emerged from the same crew—the Millbrook Brothers. A drug deal gone wrong, a brother's betrayal, and a shooting that left two families destroyed created a blood feud that would consume the next generation. Marcus "Big M" Williams formed the Murdas, while Jerome "J-Six" Thompson founded the 63rds. Both men are dead now, but their war lives on in their sons, nephews, and the kids they recruited off the streets.

Welcome to Millbrook. Check your morals at the city limits, because in this town, clean hands are a luxury nobody can afford.
